Sunday 5th September 2010 was a very good day to hold our 70th Show, the sun was shinning and there was plenty to celebrate, with 483 exhibits, a Society record, not to mention the many family, friends and visitors that came to see them.

There were also new names winning the trophies not to mention the youngest yet Show Champion, Megan Wells, who swept all before her taking the Children's Cup, The Robinson Cup for Art and so many first places to gather the most points of any exhibitor to rule supreme as the show's champion.

Competition 2010.

Celebrating the Society's 70th show the Committee organised a competition which was open to Scawby residents. It was free to enter with a £10 prize to the winners Adult the Children entries.

The competition was in the form of a series of photographs of Scawby village, all there was to do was to identify what the picture was of. It was either a place, a building, a house or an object within the Scawby village. Click on the photo to see more
