The 71st Annual Show

 

was on Sunday the 4th September 2011

Admission:

Admission is contribution at the door on the day of the show.

Show Classes and Trophies

The Classes making up the show exhibits are grouped into the following sections:

  • Flowers                          
  • Photography
  • Fruit and Vegetables
  • Children's
  • Cookery and Craft
  • Flower Arranging
  • Members Class
 

Show Times

Exhibitors only   8.30am to 11.00am
Judging             11.00am to  1.00pm
Public viewing    2.30pm to   4.30pm
.

Presentation of the Prizes starts at 4.30pm


How to enter exhibits: Friday 2nd September 2011

Entries must be made using the form provided below and returned on the Friday before the show at the Scawby Village Hall: the cost of each entry is 10p.

Committee members will be at the Hall from 7.00pm to 8.30pm on the Friday to receive the entries.


All Children resident in Scawby Parish or pupils attending Scawby School are able to enter exhibits into the children's classes for free.

Refreshments

Tea, Coffee and a selection of home made cake slices at 50p each and a glass of juice at 20p. All available at the kitchen hatch in the main hall.

Raffle Prices

First Prize £30 - Garden Centre Voucher  
Second Prize
£20 - Meal for two Voucher
(at the Sutton Arms, Scawby)
                 

A further 13 prizes were won ranging from a bottle of whisky, gin, wine biscuits and chocolates

Raffle tickets were available from: Committee members, R G Stores, Scawby Post Office and were also available to buy on the day of the show. If you have any questions regarding Raffle Tickets please click here

The draw took place in the Village Hall after the Trophies been had presented.

Show Stalls

Stalls on the day typically include a Tombola (5 goes for £1.00), Roll a Penny and  Win a Fruit Basket (buy a square for 50p).
